Mixed Fruit Custard Recipe
Fruit Custard is an easy dessert made by mixing chopped seasonal fruits with chilled custard.
The main and only concern with this dessert is that the fruit custard can either become too thick or runny.
So follow my simple steps and you will have a delicious creamy custard with perfect consistency, taste & sweetness.
Any seasonal fruits go well in this dessert. But most often I use apples, bananas, mango, pomegranate, and grapes.
It is better to use sweet fruits and leave out the sour tangy ones.
Also do not use citrus fruits like orange, grapefruit. Also, omit the watery watermelon.
So let’s see the ingredients
Milk (full cream) – 3 cups + 1/2 cup
Custard Powder – 3 tbsps
Sugar – 1/3 cup (6 tbsps)
Fruits of your choice
- I used
- 1/2 an Apple
- 1/2 a Mango
- 1/4 cup each black and green grapes (do not use the ones with seeds)
- Pomegranate – 1/4 cup
- 1 Kiwi (check the Kiwi before you add, if it is sour do not use it)
- 1 Banana
