Fresh orange cake recipe.How to make fresh fruit cake
Sugar-3/4cup or 160gms
All-purpose flour-1 and 1/3cup or 160gms
Butter-2/3cup or 150gms
Orange juice- 1 orange
Orange zest-1 orange
1)Take out the juice and zest of one complete orange.
Always prefer taking the juice and zest just before making the cake, helps in maintaining the fresh factor.
2)In a bowl, break 3 eggs, add sugar, and whisk at low speed for 5 mins, increase the speed and blend for 10mins till it turns frothy.
3)add butter and blend again at medium speed for around 5-10mins till it turns creamy.
4)Sift the flour and baking powder, gently cut, and fold.
5)Add the fresh orange juice and fold gently.
6)Once done add zest and give final mixing.
Grease a loaf tin with butter and dust with dry flour.
A pre-heat oven in bake mode for 20 mins @180degrees
Bake the cake @160degrees for 45mins in bake mode, cool the cake completely ad cut it.
The most refreshing homemade orange cake is ready.
